Project Inspire

Ever since New Year's, I've been thinking about doing a photography project. I knew I couldn't commit to a 365. I can admit that I am not that discplined to commit to one. I can't even keep up with my IG 365 challenges.

It's been something that I've been daydreaming about and trying to figure out what it is that inspires me. This past weekend it finally came to me.

I have this quote pinned to my bulletin board, "I LOVE THE PERSON I'VE BECOME BECAUSE I FOUGHT TO BECOME HER". The pieces started coming together for me. I started thinking about who I am and how I've gotten here. I started thinking about my mom, my grandmother and my sisters. My life has been touched by some pretty amazing women. That's the story that I want to tell.

Through the toughest moments in my life, it's been the stories of others that have carried me through, given me strength. Whether it was when my anxiety was at it's worse, when I was struggling to get pregnant. It was in sharing and talking with others that I realized I am not alone.

Of course as soon as I started thinking about this project, I started to get butterflies and it scared the shit out of me. Which means what? That I have to do it. I want to document and tell the stories of women. We all have a story to tell and it's these stories that inspire others. You never know what will resonate with someone to make a difference in their life.

Now I need your help in spreading the word!

Open Casting Call:

Who: Girls, women of any age that have a story to share, when you think of this quote below in the pic, what comes to mind?

Send me an e-mail and share your story! natasha@happychaosphoto.com

This is free, this isn't a session or anything where you will have to pay for prints later, not at all. I'm working on this in my free time, so weekdays will be better when my little ones are in school but if needed we can make the time work.

You will have to be comfortable sharing your story and images on my blog/website. I will share the images with you. This isn't a posed portrait type of session or an excuse for family pics. I want to make this a documentary lifestyle project. What does that mean? That means I want to come to you, your home, your office, somewhere meaningful to you.

So, if you are up to the challenge, if this is giving you butterflies in your stomach than shoot me an e-mail and let's get started!
